August 2017: Phase One - Members of The Trojan Women Project team worked with partner ArtPolis, an activist Arts company, to assemble a new group of participants from Kosovo, made up of Albanian, Serb and Rom professional actors, students, and community members. Workshops in movement, sound, andthe Swados music of the Trojan Women, were shared with more than 50 participants.
April 2018: Phase Two - The Trojan Women team worked for five weeks with a Kosovar company to present the production of Trojan Women at the ArtPolis’ FemArt Festival in Pristina on May 25, 2018. The performance was staged outside the National Library in Pristina. The show was also performed in North Mitrovica at Aquarius Gallery on Monday May 28th and at the Prizren Kalaja on Sunday June 3rd.
In Kosovo, the Trojan Women Project was supported by UNMIK, the US Embassy, UNFPA, UN Women, the Municipalities of Pristina and of Prizren.
Eight members of the company from Kosovo joined the international company of the Trojan Women Project Festival presented at La MaMa in New York City, December 5-15th 2019.
